Employment Exchange

The 'Employment Exchange' is currently under development and is scheduled for a future revision of the website.

The underlying concept is simple - let's get engineering and other technical undergraduates out of casual work in hotels / pubs and fast-food restaurants and into meaningful temporary / part time / summer / flexible employment with companies in the CeeD community which have a need to plug gaps / provide cover / initiate projects / conduct research etc in areas relevant to the student's learning. By integrating undergraduates into industry at an earlier stage than would otherwise be the case, we can collectively ensure that on graduation, young people already have an appreciation of what's required by would be employers and are ready to meet those expectations, delivering from day one, not year 2.

The Employment Exchange will be a 'match-making' service wherein prospective employers will be able to post suitable undergraduate vacancies and the undergraduate will be able to create a searchable online profile and upload a CV – like a mini s1jobs.com
