Tooling Control System
One of CeeD's Sponsoring Members has been in contact looking for anyone who uses a tooling control system based on the principles of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). This involves having a tool cabinet linked to a computer system that can tell you when any given tool was removed or replaced and by whom. If you can help or know someone who can please get in touch through the Members' Forum where this enquiry was posted.
Contract management
CeeD was recently contacted by member company, Star Refrigeration to identify expertise within the CeeD group on contract management. Some of the areas that need to be discussed are around contract terms, variance, managing the variance process as well as how best to improve this area of the business. If you can help or know someone who can (perhaps a contracts engineer or commmercial director type, maybe with some experience in mechanical or specialist mechanical services), then please get in touch with the CeeD office in the first instance by calling Kevin on 0141 800 5104 or please complete our help response form.
